VOLUNTEER
PROJECTS
Wild at Heart Volunteer Projects have been set up in conjunction
with South Africa's leading conservationists and wild life
specialists to see how we can improve the lives of animal
species that can generally not be released back into the
wild. The aim of our Volunteer Projects is to educate young
people on the plight of these animals. Our Projects will
take you behind the scenes where the tourist has no insight
and teach you the principals of wild life management, conservation
and preservation of the eco system. Our research begins by
studying and documenting the behavioral activities of various
species. The results are correlated with studies performed
in the wild and once rehabilitated and ready for the wild,
these animals are then released back into nature. The results
of these Volunteer Projects have proved that domesticated
species of wildlife casualties can be rehabilitated and can
be successfully reintroduced back into the wild.
